Pepperoni pizza

💁‍♂️ 🍕

Not you, the waiter that served me this pizza the other day at this Italian place.

So I go into this restaurant during my lunch break. I wait at the door to be seated. The waiter looks at me once, ignores me and after a second glance he asks me for how many.

As he guides me to my table he leaves the menu not before I quickly tell him that I already know what I want.

To that, he acknowledges and leaves without asking me what I want. He leaves! Why won’t you take my order if I already know what I want? (ಠ_ಠ)

The pizza and drink come relatively fast, so I’m happy with the kitchen service. Once I finish the waiter comes over and asks me if I want dessert. I do.

The conversation goes like this:

  • We have yogurt, fruit mousse, grandma’s cake and fruit.
  • What’s the grandma’s cake?
  • I have no idea.
  • (stare)
  • Alright, I’ll have the fruit mousse please.

I did not press him to find out what the cake was but… Shouldn’t he know already? It’s not like the dessert list was 20 items. It’s 4 items, my man. If you don’t know, why don’t you go to the kitchen and ask?

The was calm and conscious of what he was doing. It was really strange.

What’s your take on this?
